Welcome
Kaipara Flats Sports Club is the largest club in the area. Set in the centre of Kaipara Flats village on the magnificent Bourne Dean Recreation Grounds, we have a great clubhouse with Bar and Restaurant area as well as a huge deck overlooking our 3 floodlit Tennis and Netball Courts – and our large and well-maintained Cricket & Soccer pitch with Petanque terrain.
Thursday Night is the most important social occasion in the week, when the Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant open for our weekly social gathering which features a meat raffle & Members Draw. Most people in the community are members of the Club so it’s a great place to meet and catch up with all the local news.

Sports
Cricket Club
Kaipara Flats Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in the area – producing Black Caps before they were called Black Caps! Games are played Saturdays and Sundays throughout Summer and a local Junior Cricket comp on Friday afternoons.

Tennis
Tennis has always played a key role in Kaipara Flats Sports Club – we have 4 Tennis Courts available for Members, with Competitions throughout the season and tuition. There is a popular Junior Tennis Club too, with lessons after school in Summer.

Netball
Kaipara Flats Netball Club has both Senior And Junior Netball teams which meet and play competitions at Rodney Netball Centre on Friday evenings and Saturdays
Petanque
Petanque (Boules) is played on the special gravel ‘terrain’ we have established near the clubhouse.
One of the gentler sports on our roster, series of Games are played during the season – and can get quite competitive!

Hire the Clubhouse
Members can hire the clubhouse for functions, meetings or celebrations. The building features disabled access via Lift, kitchen for catering and a bar with eftpos. Bookings need to be approved by the committee and staffing arranged, so allow 1 month notice.
